Hostnet announces Platinum sponsorship to the Dallas County Medical Society’s “Circle of Friends”

Richardson, TEXAS – May 3, 2006 --- The Dallas County Medical Society (DCMS), a professional organization that has grown from 30 to approximately 6000 physicians since its inception in 1876 announces that Hostnet has joined DCMS’s Circle of Friends as a Platinum member. Members of the Dallas County Medical Society are Dallas physicians, surgeons, medical students, and residents dedicated to serving Dallas citizens in matters of medical care.

“Hostnet's entrance into the medical industry was specifically designed to allow doctors to focus on caring for the patients.  Our analysis of this industry quickly revealed that too many practices were struggling with information technology and it was becoming a burden rather than a tool.  After spending a tremendous amount of time with our first few doctors we brought together the tools, people and process to deliver a powerful technology solution to the medical industry.  Today this is our fastest growing market sector and we are excited to offer our services to the members of the Dallas County Medical Society under our new partnership,” said Matt Ramsey, President and CEO of Hostnet.

“Our medical solution addresses regulatory HIPAA requirements and builds a foundation for choosing an EMR, PACS and Practice Management software solution,” added Matt Ramsey.

Hostnet offers a new approach to managing information technology services by providing the technology, hardware and support services to growing Medical practices at a fraction of the costs of hiring a full-time IT person.

“We are committed to the mission of DCMS because they are truly impacting our healthcare here in Dallas for the positive by providing local health services ranging from administering polio vaccines to distributing AIDS educational booklets to Dallas public school students and DCMS started Project Access, a physician-led, community effort to provide health care to the uninsured,” said Matt Ramsey.
